ABOUT LEANNE
“I hand paint flora and landscapes finding inspiration from National Park walks. Each work features visible brushstrokes and texture”
A former Library Assistant and Administrator, Leanne Dunne began an acrylic painting practice in 2020 based in her Brisbane home studio.
She has more recently begun translating the rugged beauty of the Australian bushland into vibrant textured landscapes as well as her own signature style of flora; all defined by rich color and thoughtful design.
Her work is frequently exhibited across Brisbane and acquired by interstate and international art collectors.
Beyond the easel, Leanne ambitiously co-founded and established a 25 member art collective [@base.artists] at Base Art And Framing in June 2023 where she remains the administrator and promoter.
