Hi I’m Leanne and I paint using my imagination with acrylics.  I need to create my own story; something that comes to the surface from my soul and so I paint in my home studio with a meditative flow taking me to the raw scents of bushland with birds and trees serenading the energy of new life.

The inspiration for my naturescape compositions comes from many visits to beautiful National Parks and a childhood upbringing next to natural bushland in the Victorian midlands.   

The retro caravans in my ‘Home Is Where You Park It’ Series have stemmed from my love of our own older classic van and the travels I continue to enjoy in the company of my hubby. 

These experiences and my love of the bush have also led me to design my own Australian naturescape and habitat garden around our suburban home; further inspiration!!

In 2023 I established the Base Artists Collective located at Base Art And Framing, 984 Logan Rd, Holland Park, Qld. The Gallery features a large selection of diverse artworks all for sale by 28 local artists working in a variety of mediums.
